WORLDWIDE rAMSDoug Nelson Player Bio: Dalton Risner was born in Branson, MO, and grew up in the tiny community of Wiggins, Colo., population 900. The town was so small that its that it did not even have a peewee football program until a few residents started one, in part so that Risner and his brothers could play. He credits his father, Mitch, with giving him a strong work ethic and a dedication to excellence form a young age. Dalton made a name for himself playing center and then right tackle for the Kansas State University Wildcats, where he logged a list of honors too long to include in its entirety here. Among the highlights include being named First-Team All-Big 12 Conference for three consecutive years, only the fourth offensive lineman in conference history to win that award. Risner was also named to several All-America teams during his time at K-State and named to no less than four First-Team All America teams as a senior. As if that is not enough, Risner is widely regarded as a model citizen off the field as well. Nobody is perfect, but it is pretty hard to find anything wrong to state about Dalton Risner DALTON RISNER |
