Player Bio:  D’Andre Walker prepped at Langston Hughes High in Fairburn, GA, where he was a Rivals and Scout top 100 recruits.  As a senior in high school, he posted an astonishing number with 102 tackles (29 tackles for loss) and 23.5 sacks. He led his team to a 9-2 record and the Class AAAAAA playoffs. Walker would be named to a multitude of honors and all-star teams such as the Parade Magazine All-America Honorable Mention, 2014 U.S. Army All-American, member of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution 2014 Class AAAAAA All-State Team, named to the Georgia Sports Writers Association All-State Class AAAAAA First Team Defense, PrepStar Magazine four-star prospect, #236 overall player in the PrepStar 300 All-American, Rivals.com four-star prospect, #85 player nationally, #5 WDE nationally, #19 player in Georgia, Scout.com four-star prospect, #79 player nationally, #7 OLB nationally, #1 in the South, DawgPost #8 ranked player in Georgia, 247sports.com four-star prospect, #165 overall player in the country, #10 WDE nationally, and the #13 player in Georgia. Walker received an abundance of scholarship offers from major programs but he elected to attend the University of Georgia to stay close to home.​

Strengths: Has the ability to be a pass rusher but dominate the run in backfield. As a pass rusher, has great inside gap moves to the quarterback. Ability to get underneath pass blocker to get around to the QB. Arsenal of moves to set up blocker and counter back inside. Great field presence and ability to bat down passes. Can provide the power of a bull rusher. Has to the ability to drop in coverage and be effective.

Weaknesses: Need to get stronger as a massive blocker will blow him away. Need to wrap up more effectively as a tackler oppose to go for kill shots. Will need to create better pass rushing moves at the next level. Hips not very fluid potentially could benefit with some type of off fields strength and pilotis courses.
