worldwide ramsEd "Pi Double i" Henderson Player Bio: Jahlani Tavai prepped at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, Ca, where he played defensive line and tight end. He was the all-CIF Southern Section Northern Division first team and All-Bay League first team and led Mira Costa to an undefeated 2014 year and winning the Division II State Championship. Recruited by USC, Arizona, San Jose St, and Hawaii, Tavai would choose to play his collegiate ball at the University of Hawaii where he became a star for the Warriors. Tavai was a four-year starter for the Warriors and led the team in tackles his sophomore and junior years. He would injure his shoulder his senior year missing four games with a Grade-3 sprain to his AC Joint. The injury required surgery during the offseason and is now fully recovered to resume football duties. Tavai comes from a pedigree of football players as he had two older brothers that played collegiate at Kansas (Jordan) and USC (J.R.) who also played pro for the Tennessee Titans.
