Player Bio: Kaleb McGary prepped at Fife High School in Fife Washington and was the 2A Defensive Lineman of the Year of the South Puget Sound League.  Also, he was also named  All-South Puget Sound League First-Team as a defensive lineman making 76 tackles during senior year. He would receive a scholarship to the University of Washington and would red-shirt his first year. The next season, converted to an offensive tackle would start at right tackle the last six games of the season. He started all right tackle his entire career for the Huskies as he was named All Pac-12 1st-Team lineman and helped win the Pac-12 Championship. The medical reports show that McGary diagnosed with a heart arrhythmia, which is the malfunction of the heart's electrical system. It is the improper beating of the heart, whether irregular, too fast, or too slow. McGary has been cleared by doctors to practice and will monitor throughout.​

​Strengths: Tremendous excellent athlete of a player of his size. Ability to move defenders off their spots with one hand or two-handed punch. Powerful to drive defensive tackles on down blocks beyond the play; as well as double teams until the whistle blown even 10 yards down the field. Very comfortable with his kick slide to maximize his power and strength. Recognizes stunts and still have the ability to maintained discipline with his footwork.  On reach blocks, has excellent upper body strength supply power with the extension of his arms. Ability to set anchor for dominant bull rushers.

Weaknesses: Will surrender leverage while trying to extend blocks by relying on his length. With kick-sliding demonstrates choppiness at times primarily with speed rushers. Can become too stiff in pass sets, losing active base in knees and hips, thereby becoming susceptible to power rushes. Will surrender leverage by attempting to stop the flow instantaneously as opposed to blocking through the play. Hand placement at times can get out place, setting him up for swim or chop moves. Tends to line up too tight and often have to overexert himself getting back home to block. Susceptible in a five-technique or wide-nine defenses with speed rushers, that can have him contemplating next move. Sometime feet will fall asleep instantly in the run and pass block game.

Draft Projection:  5th-6th Round

Does He Fit?: Yes, can't resist the massive size of the player, as he will need to be polished with a year of training. Has a great size that any quarterback can love protecting his front side. May be converted into a guard with this athleticism.
