WorldWide RamsManu Harari Player Bio: Coming as a five-star recruit from Montgomery Carver High School, Wilson was recruited by several SEC schools, ultimately choosing the Crimson Tide to play for, where he was a key player for Alabama in helping them reach three of their four straight National Championship game appearances. Mack started off his college career red hot, playing in al 15 games on special teams, defense and briefly as a running back. As a Freshman on a defense that already consisted of current NFL Players today, such as Reuben Foster, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Marlon Humphrey, and Eddie Jackson, garnered eight totals tackles (five solo), one fumble recovery and one catch for a one-yard touchdown. By his sophomore season, Wilson had a bigger role, starting two of 12 games and missing two games because of a foot injury; despite not being a current starter, Mack hacked his way into being a contributor for the team, recording 40 total tackles (21 solos), two passes defended, and leading the team in interceptions with four, and adding a touchdown. He played arguably his best game of the season when it counted the most, vs Georgia in the National Championship Game, recording 12 tackles (seven solos) and two of his season total 2 1/2 tackles for loss in the game. Wilson carved himself a role on the team for what it was going to be his last college season by himself, having career high with 71 tackles ( five for loss), one sack, seven passes defended, while adding two interceptions to his already great season, earning him a spot as all 2nd team All-SEC.
