GAME FILM
#2 AJ DILLON VS NC State (2019)

#2 AJ Dillon True freshman year

Strengths: Powerful running back that leans forward when runs keeping his legs driving and knees pumping. Like a human wrecking ball can consume hits and dish out the hit too. He attacks the line of scrimmage with a low-pad level and drives his shoulders into the tackler. He has excellent lateral agility with unbelievable breakaway speed at 250-pounds. Has the ability to get to the edge and turnup field. Can play all three downs, have high endurance, and secures the ball. Dishes out a mean straight arm to the defender and not skip a beat—averaged receiver out the backfield who can swing and flat routes and remain productive.

Weaknesses: In college, Dillon used a heavy load as a workhorse. There will be some concern that he will remain with long-term durability. Took a pounding and may have much wear and tear on the body. He does not have a second move to take alternative run lanes. Pass protection is average and needs to get his feet square to take on blocks.

Draft Grade:

Draft Projection: 6.25

NFL Comparison: Derek Henry
