He has the physical body and the epitome of what an NFL linebacker should look. He has broad shoulders and a lower body that is solid. His upper body is robust and creates destruction at the point of attack. He can play against the run and can be a lethal pass rusher. He has great versatility and can line up all over the field. Against the run, he redirects the play inside containing his edge containment. He can disengage from blocks on the run or passing game and get after the ball. He has a great pad-level and uses leverage to his advantage.
Weaknesses: He lacks the athletic ability of most fierce run stoppers and passes rushers. He is not tremendously explosive off the snap and has rather just a usual rush. In traffic, he generally gets stuck on a block needing to use his counter moves to disengage. Like other good run stoppers, he does not portray the right hip and ankle flexibleness when needing to bend around the blocker. He does come with red-flags, has a medical history with ankle and knee injuries in his playing career. He will be a better fit to play at the inside linebacker position at the next level. Draft Grade: 6.27 Draft Projection: 4th -5th round NFL Comparison: Kyle Emanuel
