Ed "Pi Double I" Henderson

Player Bio: Ben Bredeson prepped at Arrowhead High School in Hartland, WI. Bredeson started at guard and helped Arrowhead High to win the WIAA Divison state championships in 2012 and 2013. They returned in 2014 and 2015 but resulted as runner-ups. He became the first offensive lineman in Wisconsin to be named Offensive Player of the Year. Bredeson received an invitation to play in the Under Armour All-American Game and named  Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Wisconsin. Bredeson received a scholarship to Michigan and started all four years and named to several All-Big Ten teams.​

#74 BEN BREDESON VS PENN ST (2019)

Strengths: He has a powerful upper body with a sturdy built frame, which is the epitome of an NFL professional lineman. Against first level blocks, moves the defender even on down blocks to overwhelm. His initial punch has a reasonable force and decent placement. He rarely loses a block once locked on the defender with leverage. Has a tremendous anchor that disallows pass rushers that have bull-rushing skills in pass protection. Maintains a good blocking base and rarely gets upright nor lean too far forward. In pass protection, get his feet set, and the mirror well does not surge out at rusher. An excellent cerebral player who started all four years in college has excellent recognition of blitzes with good vision—tough player who rarely missed a down.

Weaknesses: He does not possess good foot speed and will become a disadvantage on outside run plays or screens. Not very athletic, and even with plays requiring for him to pul will struggle to get to the block causing clogging in the backfield. Quesionary when needing to get out to the second level with combination blocks. Lacks the versability and will only be an offensive guard at the next level.
