Player Bio: Benito Jones attended Wayne County High School in Waynesboro, MI. He played defensive tackle at Wayne County High his senior year, tallied 83 tackles and 14 sacks to lead his hist to the 5A State Championship. The Mississippi Association of Coaches name as the 5A Defensive Player of the Year. Selected by Under Armour All-America and MaxPreps Medium Schools All-America pick, he participated in the Under Armour All-America Game. He recorded five tackles (four tackles for loss) and one sack. A rating as a 5-Star recruit by ESPN listed as one of the top 10 defensive tackles in the nation, Jones was rated #4 overall by ESPN. He played in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star and was named the All-State by the Clarion-Ledger USA Today​

#95 Benito Jones vs arkansas (2019)

Strengths: Jones is the epitome of NFL interior defensive lineman with a big solid frame and his lower bottom. His first step is impressive that allows him to beat the blocker off the snap with penetration. He maintains excellent leverage; his upper body has excellent strength. He can maintain pressure by staying low, and infrequently is caught too-high with pressure. His pressure and power transform him into a dominant bull rusher that drives the blockers into the protection scheme. His anchor is reliable and able to absorb double team blocks.

Weaknesses: One of his major concerns is his conditioning. Far too many times, the film reveals his inconsistencies because of his fatigue factor weighs into the equation. He is not an every-down player because of his on-and-off conditioning. His powerful drives will cause him to be off-balance and end up on the ground because he loses vision of the ball at the point-of-contact. At the line of scrimmage, he shows that he can not remain square and is overwhelmed by the blocker allowing him to create cutback lanes and gaps. He is not effecting in zone schematic calls and will become a stalemate trying to make it to the ball.
