Player Bio: Played high school ball at  Acalanes High School in Lafayette, Calif. Played only two years of high school football, but still made quite a name for himself, including All-West Region. Went to Oregon as a 258 pound offensive lineman, very much on the small side by modern, standards where it's not at all unusual to find high school teams from that are 300 plus at all five offensive line positions. But Aiello hit the weight room and the practice field hard and made himself a legitimate NFL prospect at the most demanding line position, tackle.

GAME FILM
#66 Brady aiello vs michigan st (2018)

Strengths: Smart, tough player who played for a top school in a power conference. Hard-working, blue-collar type player who grinds every day and doesn't take plays off. Mentally well-suited for the 'war in the trenches. He blocked for one of college football's top quarterbacks in a pass-oriented offense. He does not commit stupid penalties that stop drives. Nothing about Aiello's game jumps out, but he is indeed a guy who is coachable and could mold into a competent NFL offensive lineman, given his intelligence and work ethic. Will probably be available in the lower rounds or as a college free agent. For a team like the Rams, he's probably worth a shot as long as they don't expect him to start right away. A flexible lineman who could step in at any O-line position in a pinch started at both guard and tackle. Tall enough so that he could still add some weight if needed.

Weaknesses: Can he match up well against gifted NFL pass rushers? Probably not without some help, at least early in his career. He is not considered as the most athletic guy, although his 40 yard dash times are pretty good for a man of his size. Aiello became the only the Ducks "sixth man" on the O-line up until 2019. Probably more of a reserve than a starter as a rookie. Footwork and hand technique are OK for college but will need some work to get to NFL standards. High center of gravity, sometimes loses battles with leverage.

Draft Grade: 6.0

Draft Projection: 6th-7th round

NFL Comparison: Kelvin Beachum, New York Jets
