#34 Bryce Hall vs MIAMI (2018)

Strengths: He has a long and lengthy body frame, with excellent fluid hips and good persistence in press coverage. He makes right angles to close on the ball with excellent instintive skills—great ability to use the sideline as an extra defender on deep play coverage routes. He has excellent agility to break downhill to the ball and a willing participant to set the edge on run defense—good pass defender as he blocked over 34 passes in his career. He led the nation with 22 pass breakups; tied for #1 in the nation with 24 passes defended

Weaknesses:  He appears to be uncomfortable in zone coverages. Need to build up his speed, not explosive of the break. Despite coming up for run support, he will duck his head and slow down to make tackles. Speed receivers tend problematic for his defense. Loses his mechanics in press coverages by lunging at receivers. Leg injury cost him the last half of his senior season.

Draft Grade: 6.32

Draft Projection: 3rd round

NFL Comparison: James Bradberry
