GAME FILM
#84 Colby Parkinson VS Northwestern (2019)

#84 Colby Parkinson 2019 highlights

Strengths: He is a very athletic tight-end with tools of a wide receiver. He has very reliable hands, excellent body size, and a large radius for a catch window. He can be a mismatch against defensive back when ligned up outside as a single receicer. He can run any route of the route tree and cerebral enough to read the defenses and adjust to coverages. His big body allows him to reel in the tough catches and absorb the hits and retain the reception. As a run blocker he has great instinct on how to block in space n get up to the second level to seal the linebacker.

Weaknesses: He will need to learn a more useful ways to create seperation at the nevel with his routes. Will be tested early by more physical and press covering defensive back and hybrid linebackers. He needs to get more stronger to learn to break tackles and produce on yards after the catch. Need more strenght to be effective blocking one-on-one at the line of scrimmage. He play style thrives in 11 personnel offenses and will need to learn the pro style offenses.

Draft Grade: 6.13

Draft Projection: 3rd round

NFL Comparison: Mike Gesicki
