#3 D'Andre Swift  career highlights

Strengths: He is one of the most electric and shiftiest running back that makes it impossible for the defender to hit him squarely. He will set up his defenders with an arsenal of moves, jump cut, stutter steps, spin moves, "shimmy-shimmy," and the bob-and-weave with his excellent fluid hips. He is a dangerous runner who has great patience to let his blocks develop and run in between the tackles or blast past the defense out on edge. His ability to go from first-gear to fifth-gear is incredibly amazing how he can change directions. He has excellent contact balance and has the ability not to get wrapped up. He will run through arm tackles, slip the tackle and take it the distance amazingly how he gets to the second level and sets up the linebackers and defensive backs for extra yardage. Out of the backfield, he is also dangerous as a receiver. He is productive either with screens, swing routes, or flares and can turn them up for significant gains. He has some gentle hands and high concentration that allows him to make the tough catches in traffic. He can line up as a slot out an outside receiver and still be dangerous as a runner. As a pass protector, he recognizes the unaccounted blitzer and will put his body in the way to buy the quarterback some time or protect from getting sacked.

Weaknesses: He did not run the ball more than 15-times per game, and his durability will be a concern of being an every-down back. He has a history of injuries, ankle, feet, and last groin surgery that may be responsible for his lack of breakaway speed from last season. He tends to get tripped up a lot, trying to make unnecessary moves after breaking the line of scrimmage. He will need to have better ball security as he tends to run with the ball outside of his body. Will need to work on pass protection skill at the next level.
