#6 devin duvernay vs lsu (2019)

Strengths: Duvernay size as a receiver is impeccable, as he built like a running back. Had elite speed that burns up the playing field and very powerful. Run elegant and crisp routes of the passing tree. Break well off of cuts, and start and stop without losing speed. Very cerebral with the ability to read and expose the coverages. Great reliable hands that do not drop balls. He can take the roof of the defense. Very elusive in the open field with breakaway speed. Break tackles and will lay the boom on the defender before they lay the boom on him.

Weaknesses: He has a limited catch radius and challenged on how big of a radius can expand. Rely on his speed to get off the line and use no techniques. Duvernay's release is affected by his lack of technique and needs to learn how to fight with his hands to get off. The concern will can he separate from press-coverage at the next level. Not fluid with his hips will generate more precise routes off the breaks.

Draft Grade: 6.00

Draft Projection: 3rd round

NFL Comparison: ArDarius Stewart
