Player Bio: Jake Fromm prepped at Houston County High School in Warner Robins, GA. Fromm passed for 12,745 yards and 116 touchdowns throughout 46 career games, and 3,910 passing yards during his senior year. He was named to the 2016 Atlanta Journal-Constitution Georgia Super 11, 2016 Class AAAAAA Offensive Player of the Year, and the 2016 Georgia Sports Writers Class AAAAAA Offensive Player of the Year. Fromm was selected to represent the East in the 2016 U.S. Army All-America Bowl and also named to the American Family Insurance 2016 USA Today All-USA Second Team.​

#11 Jake Fromm vs Georgia Tech (2017)

Strengths: A high profiled quarterback while coming out of high school to the University of Georgia with a ton of upside. He had a ton of experience which transcended well to the college level. His accuracy is on another level, especially while in the pocket, with excellent protection. His precisive pinpoint accuracy demonstrated from a quick release. Throwing range is selective and can throw 50/50 ball in areas where the receiver will win the battle. He leads his receivers to area placement, with the ball allowing them the opportunity to develop yards after the catch. At the next level, he will blossom with his ability to throw an accurate back shoulder fades.​

Weaknesses: He lacks a powerful arm that is just average. He does not throw with proper awareness and will struggle with windows in zone-coverages. In post-snap reads, he struggles to identify the coverages showing zone and changing to man. He will need to work on better footwork, as he is inconsistent. While under duress, his play is subpar, resulting in quicker throws, underthrows, and forced interceptions. His lack speed to run outside the pocket, but will take the risk on short-yardage runs.
