#12 josh love vs unlv (2019)

Strengths: He is a perfect cerebral player that can work through his progressions and read the defense coverages. He will operate in the pocket to avoid pass rusher to throw the ball to the spots need for the receivers. He has a rapid release to compliment to place the ball in the tightest windows. He is very capable of making his throughs while on the run with accuracy. He can place the ball with variations of velocity on the ball. He is money on the intermediate throws across the middle of the field.

Weaknesses: Despite having good accuracy and high velocity, he does not have a big arm. His deep ball consistently is underthrown, allowing the receiver to slow down to adjust and the defender to make a play on the ball or make the tackle. He was just a one-year starter and the level of competition spark interest in his translation to the next level. He is not very swift with his feet, and concerns will be can he move enough to avoid sacks.

Draft Grade: N/A

Draft Projection: UDFA

NFL Comparison: Kyle Allen
