game film
#30 Logan Wilson vs San Diego st (2019)

Strengths: Smart, tough player who is a former defensive back. Part of a defense that led the nation in takeaways in 2017. A high motor guy who understands the game and puts himself in a position to make plays ahead of time. Never take plays off. Ten career interceptions and 33 tackles for loss at Wyoming, Plays the run well, and will not cost many games with mental lapses or because of a lack of effort. He is rated as the number five inside linebacker in the draft by ESPN and Number eight linebacker prospect by ESPN and named to some All-America Teams as a Senior and one of six Butkus Award Finalists. Wilson could even punt in an emergency, as he was a three-time All-State punter in High School

Weaknesses: Not the most athletic player and his 40- times will not impress scouts. While he played Boise State every season with occasional outings against other big-time schools, The Mountain West is not the SEC. Not a ''sideline to sideline" playmaker. OK in zone pass coverage, but not someone you want in man coverage for long periods against faster-running backs/tight ends

Draft Grade: 6.2. Wilson may or may not start right away, but has a chance to eventually.

Draft Projection:  3rd-4th round. If the Rams do not resign Corey Littleton, Wilson could end up wearing horns on his helmet on Sundays. The Raiders have been mentioned as another possibility; in many ways, he is a 'Jon Gruden type of player, a tough, blue-collar guy who will not make stupid mistakes.

NFL Comparison: Kiko Alonso, New Orleans Saints
