Player Bio: Raequan Williams attended DePaul College Prep in Chicago, IL. In his senior year, he played defensive tackle, defensive end, and offensive tackle. Williams garnered All-State Honors by the Chicago Tribune and The News-Gazette, All-Area Chicago Sun-Times, All-Catholic League Red Division, and ChicagoFootball.com’s, and the 2014 Tony Lawless Award (Catholic League Red Division Player of the Year). He amounted for 74 tackles (53 solos), 22 tackles for loss, eight sacks, and nine pass deflections, and three forced fumbles. Williams also started on the Depaul's College Prep basketball team and was the team captain.

Strengths: He has a significant body for a defensive lineman and who plays with a malicious attitude. He has a robust upper body that helps control blocks and forced the run game back into the teeth of the defense. He has an explosive first step off the line to blow past the offensive lineman and uses great hand techniques to shed and disengage from blocks. He has an excellent knack to the ball with good vision and awareness. Pass-rushing skills is a powerful bull rush, a club, and the chop.

Weaknesses: In his approach at the line of scrimmage, he tends to get above the pad-level allowing the blocker to stand him up. His lower body needs added strength; double team blocks blow him out of the play. He not a good closer on the tackle, questions grip strength. Need to complete his process in tackles as he missed too many. His lateral pursuit needs more refining as he becomes a bit unbalanced.
