#4 Tavien Feaster vs Kentucky (2019)

#28 Tavien Feaster clemson hightlights

Strengths: Feaster has the ideal size for an NFL running back whose physicality is on another level. He has sturdy legs that continue to keep his feet, moving and pushing through his tackle. One tackler rarely brings him down in one-on-one matchups. He has excellent balance even after contact and fights for extra yardage. He eats up yardage when he runs the ball after securing a 6.0 yards-per-carry. He has excellent field vision and shoots the holes quickly. He is a good downhill runner and durable to carry a heavy load. A snub from the 2020 NFL Combine results of a massive chip on his shoulder. Feaster has the ability to catch the ball out the backfield and is a threat in the open field.

Weaknesses: Not much film on pass protection, therefore, we will express how much work he will need to address. Not very active as an outside runner and not agile with his fluidity, which limits his moves. He does have a strong start and stop speed while in space, allowing the defender to close in quickly on him. His power typically has him attempting to run through everyone.

Draft Grade: 6.10

Draft Projection: 4th - 6th round

NFL Comparison: Mark Ingram
