#14 Tom Flacco vs wake forest (2018)

#14 Tom Flacco career highlights

Strengths: He is undersized but a tough quarterback who has functional mobility to move aside in the pocket. However, he will be a good fit for teams that has RPO style offense that allows him to make an NFL Roster. When giving time in a spread offense or RPO's, he can eat a defense up alive. He is a cerebral player that understands the different styles of defenses that he faces. He can escape from pressure and the blind side blitz and is still able to keep his eyes down the field and find the open receiver. He has a competitive edge and can become a versatile player that can run the wildcat, receiver, and halfback. He played well against FBS level competition.

Weaknesses: At the next level, he does not have that prototypic size of a starting NFL quarterback. He is a bit on the short side, which will hinder his vision inside the pocket. He will have issues with a pro-style offense designed for drop-back passing. He does not have that elite arm but will aww defenses with impressive throws. His level of competition against the team came far too short.

Draft Grade: 5.75

Draft Projection: 5th -UDFA

NFL Comparison: Doug Flutie
