#78 Tyre Phillips VS TEXAS A&M (2019)

Strengths: Very strong and powerful lineman who excels well at the run and pass blocking. Mammoth size allows him to swallow ensuing rushers, with a solid stump. Very cerebral and not easy to be outflanked by crafty pass rushers. Protects the blindside well, as only allowing on two sacks his entire career against teams in the conference such as Alabama, LSU, Florida, and Georgia. A versatile lineman who can play inside as an interior lineman or outside pass blocker.

Weaknesses: Despite having good mobility, tends to trip up while pulling and cross block assignments. While pass blocking, with speed pass rushers anticipates the outside move beaten the rusher to his point. At the the next level will get exposed and allow inside pressure. Climbing to the next level of blockers tend to get lost on who to block next.

Draft Grade: 6.24

Draft Projection: 3rd - 5th Round

NFL Comparison: Gabe Jackson - Oakland Raiders
