Player Bio: Amen Ogbongbemiga was born in Lagos, Nigeria; his family moved to the United States (Houston, TX) in 2003. The family would then moved to Calgary in 2011, where he played at Notre Dame High School. His senior year, he recorded 110 total tackles(15 tackles for loss), four sacks, five forced fumbles, and three recovered fumbles. His junior year was nearly the same with 104 tackles (13 tackles for loss), four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and three sacks. He was named All-District First Team and the team's defensive MVP. He participated in track and was a three-time academic honor roll recipient.

Strengths: He has an athletic linebacker with a nice size to his frame but with a slimmer lower body. He has an intense high-motor exemplifies his speed while pursuing the ball. He will explode to the ball carrier with aggressive hands ripping at the ball to create turnovers. He uses his speed to get to running backs that may leak out the backfield or on misdirection runs, constantly locating the ball in traffic. He has excellent reaction and instincts, as while reading the quarterback's eyes.

Weaknesses: He lacks the height and will swallow up by the more prominent and faster offensive linemen. He needs improvement with his strength, adding more bulk to his frame, especially his lower body. He uses his entirely too much grabbing at the blocker instead of ripping or running through the blocks. He will lunge at the runner without breaking down and missing tackles and over-pursuing and allowing broken tackles from arm tackles. In pursue, he uses poor angles that will also put him in a lousy tackling position.
