Player Bio: Anthony Schwartz attended the powerhouse American Heritage High School in Pembroke Pines, FL. The speedy Swartz was a deep threat receiver who helped American Heritage win the Florida Class 5A State Championships in back-to-back seasons. However, the track is where he excelled the most at American Heritage. A world-class sprinter won the Class 2A 100-meters in 10.07 seconds and 200-meters in 20.41 second, setting Florida state records. He ran in the IAAF U20 world championships in Finland and placed with a silver medal in the 100-meters and gold in the 4x100 relay.

#1 Anthony Schwartz highlights (2019)

Strengths: He is a receiver that has tremendous blazing speed! His raw speed will allow him to take the top of all NFL defenses. He has to ability to from 0-30 in a two-tenths of a second with excellent acceleration. As a route runner, he does an excellent job of giving the quarterback a secure window to throw the ball. He has reliable hands and will catch the majority of his passes away from his body. Quarterbacks hit in stride; it good night, Lucy, as he will win the foot race 99.9% of the time. There will no be too many defensive backs even at the next level who will run step-for-step with Schwartz. He is a willing participant as a blocker and makes his small frame noticed.

Weaknesses: He is tremendously light with a very lean frame that needs to add 10 pounds of bulk to it. His frame is too lean for his speed that presents him with issues when snapping off his routes or changing directions in tight windows. Primarily running screen and vertical routes limited his route tree at Auburn. More significant, more vital, and physical defensive back will give him grief off the line of scrimmage. He played primarily running back in high school; there are some concerns about why he never used a returner. More strength is commons in his case as he had ball control issues that led to many turnovers.
