Player Bio: Azeez Ojulari attended Marietta High School located in Marietta, GA. During his senior year, he recorded 118 total tackles (92 solos), 31 tackles for loss, 11 sacks after following his junior by posting 103 tackles (17 tackles for loss) and eight sacks. He helped Marietta reach the semifinals of the GHSA 7A State Playoffs his senior season. He garnered the PrepStar All-Southeast Region Team and the 2017 Marietta Daily Journal Dynamite Dozen. He received an invite to participate in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl and the Savage Pro team at Nike’s The Opening 2017 Finals. Ojulari also played on the Marietta High basketball team.

#13 Azeez olujari career highlights

Strengths: He is a talented EDGE, an unbelievably violent and tremendous pass rusher with versatility and the ability to play outside the linebacker position. He is tremendously explosive off the line from his first step by using his hands with a firm punch to maintain excellent body control. He has very active hands, and he will use the chop, club, and rip move to penetrate and get his hands up to bat down passes. He uses his athletic ability to obtain leverage against the blockers with his long arms to beat the initial block to get to the ball. His agility is impressive as he changes directions with ease with smooth hips rotation. He uses his speed to set the edge and to get outside to cut off the run. He will chase down plays from the backside by covering much of space. He can drop down in coverage and with mediocre coverage skills.

Weaknesses: He has limited playing experience and is only 20 years old will play significance against him. He needs to add more bulk to his frame as he is borderline in weight for the position. The more massive offensive tackles can control him at the line of scrimmage, as he will need to control how to disengage from blocks. He will need on better ways to play against the run at the next level. He does show signs of being lost while playing in space.
