He garnered All-IAC First Team, All-DCIAA First Team, and USA Today Washington, DC First Team. ESPN.com, Rivals.com, 247Sports.com, and Scout.com all had Snowden rated as a three-star player.

Strengths: He is a very athletic and fluid edge rusher, and to add a substantial frame. His towering six-foot-seven-inch frame is unheard of for an edge rusher who can rush and allows him to a competitive edge from the outside. He uses his wingspan to control his leverage and free himself from the blocker. He is very mobile and able to shut down the outside run. He has a tremendous tackle radius and makes tackles with much range. He can reach out and wrap up the runner in unexpected areas on the field to make the tackle. Rushing the passer, he uses an arsenal of moves to get to the quarterback with powerful moves. He imposes problems with his long frame as passing lanes and windows are affected by his long arms. When he drops off into coverage, he chews up much ground with his length. He can alter the pass or tips and knock down passes with his arms and hands.

Weaknesses: His tall frame comes with the price of a small lower body that is not very powerful. When engaged with a more powerful blocker, they easily can manipulate him one-on-one pressure. He does not pursue well in traffic and will get knocked off his route. To build up speed to pursue his long strides, take a moment to get going, killing his chances at short burst plays. He also makes bad angles to the ball and does not recover well.
