In his senior year, he rushed for 1,567 yards and scored 22 touchdowns; while on defense, he recorded 126 tackles (96 solos), four forced fumbles, and three interceptions, including three kick-off returns for touchdowns as well. He earned the 2016 AP All-State selection Second Team, the 2016 Courier-Journal All-State, and the 2016 Class 2A-District Six Player of the Year by the Kentucky Football Coaches Association.
