GAME FILM
#53 Ernest Jones vs lSU (2020)

#53 Ernest Jones career highlights

Strengths: He is an excellent cerebral player who sticks to the script by playing fundamental football. He plays like a traditional middle linebacker who is violent and hit hard. His diagnosis plays well, and he will not hesitate to shoot the gaps and does not miss tackles. He is a tackling machine; in his two full years as a starter, he recorded eight games of double digits in tackles. He will contain his leverage and almost flawless in his responsibility. He has to ability to drop in coverage as a pass defender.

Weaknesses: His speed will be challenged at the next level, as he does not possess the speed to stay with quick running backs and tight ends. He does not look that athletic and is not have fluid hips, and he looks stiff. He will need to work on his skill level blitzing, as he will get knocked off his route running above the pad level.

Draft Projection: 4th Round

NFL Comparison: Elandon Roberts (Miami Dolphins)
