GAME FILM
#0 Gary Brightwell VS COLORADO (2020)

#0 Gary Brightwell highlights (2020)

Strengths: He is a strong, powerful running back built to run inside the tackles. He will be that primary short-yardage back to pick up first downs or touchdowns. His first steps are exceptional as he hits the line at full throttle, a no-nonsense runner who enjoys running North-to-South.  He has a little nasty to him with shifty cuts and has the speed to get outside the tackles. He will run with power unfeared and will lower his shoulder to run over the defender.

Weaknesses: His playing time on the field was limited, and he can not be trusted to have an abundance of carries. Did not start in college and had limited yardage during his prep career. He runs at one speed, fast, and will not let his blocks develop. He will not break a long run will be caught from behind. He has minimal skills out the backfield as a receiver. Need to develop on pass blocking, horrendous in picking up blitz and stunts.

Draft Projection: 7th Round

NFL Comparison: Salvon Ahmed (Miami Dolphins)
