He is very physical on the playing field, both against the run and the pass. He is an excellent cerebral player who has excellent instincts. He has a good vision that allows him to trust his instincts and use great awareness. He identifies the play from run to pass and remains aware of play action. He will come up and use his big frame to deliver punishing hits. He reacts well to the ball in the air and will not hesitate to jump the route if the opportunity opens. He has the tremendous hustle and gets to the receiver, and challenges the ball at the catch-point.
Weaknesses: During film study, it appears that he tends to play too high, and his flexibility seems to be compromised. He does not possess great bend, his back-pedal is rough, and footwork looks irregular. He needs to improve his mechanics as his change of direction is uncomfortable. He will open his hips too soon and will get turned around and able to recover smoothly. He will get exposed to man-coverage due to the fact when turning; he loses speed. He always goes for the big hit by lowering his head and not wrapping up the tackle. He will learn early that will get him placed on the bench, missing tackles at the next level. Draft Projection: 3rd - 4th Round NFL Comparison: Damontae Kazee (Dallas Cowboys)
