Player Bio: K.J. Britt attended Oxford High School located in Oxford, AL. During his senior season, he tallied 124 tackles (17 tackles for loss), five sacks, and one interception. Britt garnered All-State First Team, 2016 Regional MVP, and 2015 ASWA All-State First Team. He received an invite to the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game.

#33 K.j. Britt career highlights 

Strengths: He has ideal size for an inside linebacker built to stop the run. He is a cerebral player who diagnosis the play, is very disciplined, that will not bite on fakes. He plays against the run well, coming downhill fast and blows up the play. He will keep his body square, keeping the runner in front of him and consistently wrapping up the tackle. He possesses excellent change of direction skills as he runs sideline-to-sideline chasing down plays from the backside. He reads the pass before the back leaking from the backfield and re-routes his direction.

Weaknesses: His height plays against him in power-run schemes as the taller linemen can obscure his vision. He needs to add more bulk and more power behind his hits to force turnovers. He will need to work on his hand speed and punch to protect against getting swallowed and his feet cut from underneath him. He will tackle poor angles while dropping back in coverage.
