Player Bio: Landon Dickerson attended South Caldwell High School in Hickory, NC. At South Caldwell High, he helped South Caldwell to an 11-3 record in his senior year and a trip to the third round of the state playoffs. From his efforts, Dickerson received honors for the USA Today All-USA North Carolina First Team, All-Northwestern 3A-4A,  North Carolina Prep Football News, and Preseason All-State. He was a five-star recruit by ESPN, Rivals, and Scout, and 247Sports. He received invitations to the Team Armour in 2016- Under Armour All-America Game, Nike's 'The Opening' prospect camp, N.C. Shrine Bowl All-Star game. Dickerson took his talent to the Florida St. before transferring to Alabama.

Strengths: He is a huge and versatile giant that plays the center position on the interior offensive line. He has the experience to play either at center or guard from his versatility. He has excellent knee bend, good footwork, and averaged speed. At the initial point of attack, he is powerful and uses every ounce of his energy to block the defender. His ability to create running lanes and redirect the rusher opposite of the ball carrier is impeccable. He can climb up to the second level with the right angles and routes to his target. His vision is excellent even as a pass protector with cerebral instincts. He can drop back in his protection and recognize a blitzing linebacker or safety and demolish them at contact.

Weaknesses: He has a history of lower-body injuries that has ended his season every year, concern scouts. The film study displays powerful defensive line will compromise his anchor. His durability will become concerned with how he will sustain the pressure. His average speed will be another concern on reaching downfield to the third-level to provide downfield blocking.
