#9 ROBERT ROCHELL VS North Dakota ST (2020)

#9 Robert rochell game highlights (2019)

Strengths: He has the blend of size and speed is very attractive, allowing him to play man coverages. He is tremendously athletic with good length, long legs, and high form in the waist, which allow him to change direction suddenly.
He is very sudden with his direction ability change, and he leverages his fluidity well in man coverage. He is light on his feet, with excellent speed, long strides, and good closing speed. His long arms work to his advantage in press coverage at the line of scrimmage. Used excellent skills to challenges receivers to attack the ball at the catch point with comfort. The former receiver shows off his great hands by plucking the ball out the air. He is a willing participant and not afraid to get nasty against the run with a broad tackle radius and the ability to drop the runner. Strong pro day, testing out well with a 4.39 40-yard run, 43-inch vertical, and 133-in broad jump that will increase his draft stock.

Weaknesses: The level of competition will become huge of a concern with him moving on to the next level. It showed big time at the Reese's Senior Bowl practices as he struggled against the more elite receivers. Despite his excellent press coverage technique, he tended to lunge at the receivers, which will be a huge no-no at the next level. He will need to develop more control and discipline at the line of scrimmage to use his hands and feet better. His skill level is excellent; however, he is raw and can refine his techniques. He tends to grab much at receivers out their breaks that will cause flags at the next level. His pro day may have reignited his draft stock as he appears to be a Day Three draft selection.

Draft Projection: 4th - 6th Round

NFL Comparison: James Bradberry (New York Giants)
