GAME FILM
#4 Rondale Moore VS OHIO ST (2019)

#4 Rondale Moore career highlights

Strengths: He is swift, electrically quick, physical, vital, explosive, elusive, and probably the shiftiest going into this draft. Oh, how could we forget? He is also very versatile as a receiver, running the ball, and a return specialist. Offenses can add him as their impact player as he is a dynamic player with the ball on screens, jet sweeps, and stretching vertically. He will be more of a slot receiver at the next level purely because of his size and explosiveness. He has very reliable hands that pluck the ball from the air. He is partly dangerous in traffic, making defenders miss tackles and run through arm tackles. Defenses can not allow him to have too much space, as he will break ankles in one-on-one situations. Excellent return specialist for a team who can need help in all three phases on the field.

Weaknesses: History of ankle history will become a bit of a concern as he missed over 75% of his collegiate career. He also opted out of 2020, citing concerns from the pandemic and preceding his career. His routes are limited, and he needs to polish up his routes. At the next level, he needs to find better tracking skills to get to the ball. Limited to strictly as an inside receiver may impact his draft status. He has many similarities of a Rams former first-round selection Tavon Austin, and we believe the Rams will not gamble on drafting him any higher than the second-round.

Draft Projection: 1st (late) - 2nd Round

NFL Comparison: Tyreke Hill (Kansas City Chiefs)
