#14 Sage Surratt vs UNC (2019)

#14 SAGE SURRATT 2019 HIGHLIGHTS

Strengths: He is a tall rangy receiver that is good height in the NFL, with excellent strength. Press coverage defensive backs are pushed right out the way off the line of scrimmage with his phyicality. He uses his height well, as he gives the quarterback a huge window with his wide catch radius. He is able to high-point the ball at it highest point and will come down with majority of 50/50 balls. He has great concentration when catching ball and unfazed by the hits across the middle. He is an excellent blocker downfield and will maintain the block until the end of the play. Huge red-zone target that he excelled at Wake Forest.

Weaknesses: He does not scare the defense off the line of scrimmage, does not accelerate well, and lacks the long speed. He is not twitchy off the line and will give the defender a fair advantage of chucking him off the line. When running his routes, he struggles to break in and out to allow a defender at the next level to use his security blanket. He will create any separation or any shake after the catch. He cannot get positive yardage after the catch, usually settling for his catch.

Draft Projection: 3rd - 5th Round
