#7 TARIK BLACK HIGHLIGHTS (2019)

Strengths: He is very athletic, physical and has good size and frame for an NFL receiver. He can beat press coverages to get up the field to make catches or out physical the defender. He will use his frame to shield off the defender to create an opening for quick crossing routes and quick slants. He has a tremendous catch radius to allow the quarterback to throw, and he can make the catch. He has soft and reliable hands that will snatch the ball out of the air. He is very savvy as a route runner with long strides and will work back to the quarterback to provide a target. He can track the ball well down the field, especially the deep ball. He will control most 50/50 balls and be a red zone threat.

Weaknesses: The downsize to his talent is he is not a blazer; he is quick in a straight line but will not outrun the faster NFL defensive backs at the next level. He will not provide good separation and will rely on his savviness to get free. He will use his body more than his hand to make to haul in the deep throws he has to jump to catch. He will need to add some bulk to his frame to participate as a reliable blocker down the field.

Draft Projection: 7th Round - Free Agent

NFL Comparison: Allen Robinson (Chicago Bears)
