Player Bio:Trill Williams attended Archbishop Stepinac High School located in White Plains, NY. At Archbishop Stepinac, he made 46 tackles and had 19 passes defended, including five interceptions and offense; he recorded 534 yards (317 rush, 217 receiving) and 11 touchdowns. Williams scored four touchdowns (two offensive, one defensive, and one special team) and was named MVP of the 2017 CHSFL Class AAA title game. He garnered PrepStar All-East selection, 2017 USA Today American Family Insurance All-USA New York First Team by USA Today, 2017 NYSSWA All-State First Team, 2017 O’Connor Award as the Catholic High School Football League (CHSFL) Defensive Player of the Year, Journal News Westchester/Putnam Player of the Year, Catholic High School Athletic Association Class AAA Winner, Journal News “Super 11”. He also participated in basketball and track for Archbishop Stepinac.

#6 Trill williams career highlights

Strengths: He is versatile and has excellent size with the length for an NFL cornerback. He can either cornerback or safety and can play in the slot if needed. His great short field burst allows him to attack the ball in the air. He has excellent cover skills with active hands that will rip and swipe at the ball, trying to cause turnovers. Zone coverages are his strength where he plays the best.

Weaknesses: He will struggle in diagnosing plays and reads of the receiver routes. His backpedal looks a bit choppy, and his lack of fluid hips show signs of stiffness. He needs to work on his tackling because arm tackles will not work at the next level with more physical backs. He short arms for his tall frame. He will come up for run support but get lost and blow out the play when the big boys get to the next level.
