GAME FILM
#72 WALKER LITTLE VS NORTHWESTERN (2020)

Strengths: He has mammoth size with excellent bulk and solid frame. He has the excellent length to his vast body the displays great athleticism in his play.
He keeps a broad fluent base that allows him to fire out toward the defender and seal him off. He can get off the initial and climb up to the second level. He can mirror the pass rusher with practical slide steps from quick feet or shuffle to drive block inside the gaps. He is an excellent cerebral player that has excellent recognition of stunts and blitz. He has good knee bend as a pass protector; even with his hand in the ground, he uses his length to fend off the pass rusher. He will use excellent leverage and is very disciplined in his protection. He will become a legitimate blind-side tackle at the next level in the next two years.

Weaknesses: Even though his height is essential for an offensive tackle, it plays against his weakness. He will allow the defender in short-yardage or goal-line instances to keep below his pad level, creating penetration to the backfield. He needs to continue to drive his legs after the initial point of contact and rely on his strength to move the defender. The film study demonstrates how the defender would spin-off or beat him to the edge. Despite getting to the second level, his speed and limited range will cause him to struggle to get out in space. He demonstrates that he can be a mauler; however, against a smaller defender, and tries to demolish them by ducking his head and will gett of balanced and end up on the turf.
