He garnered 2016 Associated Press All-Northeast Lakes District Division II Honorable Mention and was named a Senate League All-Star. His older brother currently plays for the Arizona Cardinals.

Strengths 

• ​He is a versatile and athletic defensive back that can play both cornerback and safety positions.
• He is very smooth with fluid hips and can come out of his backpedal and breaks.
• He is one of a few lock corner who can be effective in press coverages.
• He is a very disciplined player; he maintains his patience, will not bite on double moves and will attack his prey! 
• He rarely allows a receiver to eat up his cushion and lock onto the receiver's hips in their routes.
• He uses excellent anticipation, with the ability to beat the receiver to their mark in their route.
• He has very active hands, where he will pinpoint the ball at its highest point to knock it away.
• He has a knack for ripping or punching out the ball.
• He is excellent in the open field as a tackler; he flies downhill hard to assist in run support.

​Weaknesses

• In run support, he tends to fly downhill too fast and will lunge low to make the tackle.
• He struggles to disengage from blocks to get to the ball.
• He is susceptible to quick screens and bubble routes, allowing extra yards after the catch.
• He often uses his off-hand on plays defending; physical receivers will use that to their advantage and the next level.
