game film
#51 DANNY GODLEVSKE VS TEXAS (2021)

Strengths
  • He is swift from the snap to his first step and gets his hands up and into the defender.
  • He will move his hips to seal off rush lanes and does an excellent job in containing.
  • He is sufficient in lateral conditions and excels well in outside zone plays by locating leverage points and manipulating the defender.
  • He is a cerebral player with a good football IQ and identities his target fast.
  • He will gain depth off his snap and put himself in a good location for a contributing role in the pocket.

Weaknesses

He does not have the power to conquer defensive linemen physically.
He learned transferring from the MAC to the Big XII; he struggled against the Power 5 conferences.
He gave up a great deal of leverage when the defender compromised his position and drove into his pads, losing the battle at the line of scrimmage.
He does not recover well when he gets knocked off balance, which showed numerous times on film.
He has heavy feet and has no quickness, timed poorly at his pro day.

Draft Projection: Free Agent

NFL Comparison: Nick Gates (New York Giants)
