Player Bio: DeMarvin Leal prepped at Judson High School in San Antonio, TX. He recorded 88 tackles (47 solos), 16 tackles for loss, and seven sacks as a senior. As a junior, Leal tallied 83 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 13 quarterback hits, six sacks, six pass breakups, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and a blocked punt. He recorded 155 total tackles, nine sacks, six forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries for his career. He was named to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Tops in Texas First Team and named to AP All-State Second Team his junior year. He received an invite to participate in the Army All-American Bowl.

Strengths

• He is a versatile lineman who can play various positions on the defensive line.
• He fires off the ball nicely with prominent explosiveness and gets up the field in a rush. 
• He is slippery and changes directions smoothly in space.
