Player Bio: Kyle Hamilton prepped at the Marist School in Atlanta, GA. He recorded 72 total tackles (55 solo tackles), six interceptions, and five pass breakups in his senior year as a safety. Hamilton had 485 receiving yards, 82 yards rushing, and 460 yards on kick returns as an offensive weapon. He garnered the Class AAAA All-State First-Team, and the 2018 American Family Insurance Defensive Player of the Year, 2018 Atlanta Journal-Constitution 7-AAAA Special Teams Player of the Year. He received an invite to participate in the 2019 All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.

Strengths

• He is a cerebral player with a very high football IQ.
• He is a big, strong, physical safety built like an outside linebacker who can plugin as a linebacker.
• He has excellent length and uses his long arms to locate and attack the ball at the catch radius.
• He has excellent straight-line speed to accommodate his imposing size.
• He has excellent range when flying downhill to make plays. 
• He has excellent awareness of reading the eyes of the quarterback and reacting to the ball, causing the quarterback to pay.
• He has excellent ball skills who pin-points the play and high points the ball.
• He is a three-year starter in college who possesses a great deal of experience.

Weaknesses

• He seems to not play well in space where he has missed tackles.
• He will struggle with athletic tight-ends at the next level in man coverages. 
• He displayed signs of stiffness and lacked fluidity in the hips that prevented him from changing direction.
• He lacks the athletic skills to play free safety at the next level, is a better fit at strong safety, or converted to an outside linebacker.
• He lacks excellent explosive speed as speedy receivers run by him for big plays.
