Player Bio: Otitio Ogbonnia attended James E. Taylor High School, located in Houston, TX. As a senior, he recorded 68 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, five sacks, and two forced fumbles, and as a junior, he recorded 61 tackles and 10 tackles for loss and four sacks. Obgonnia earned All-District Selections both his junior and senior season and earned 2017 Area High School All-Academic Honors. He participated in track and field and won gold medals in the State of Texas Championships.

Strengths

• ​He has a strong, big frame with excellent consistency to hold a healthy amount of core strength
• He has excellent upper-body strength at the nose tackle position.
• He is a bit explosive but also understands how to get skinny to avoid hits.
• He will fight to the whistle to disengage and get through the line of scrimmage.
