Johnny Mundt and Two Others Waived for New Players

​The Los Angeles Rams claimed three players from waivers earlier today. Fifth round selection of the Cincinnati Bengals, JJ Dielman, Seattle Seahawks, Quinton Jefferson DT, and undrafted free agent from the Philadelphia Eagles, Aaron Neary OL, were added to the Rams roster.

The Rams needed to make corresponding moves, in which they did by waiving defensive lineman Louis Trina-Pasat, linebacker Nic Grigsby, and Johnny Mudnt. All three players were surprises to make the Rams 53-man roster originally, but it seems as if the fate was set.

No bigger surprise of the three to make the team was the undrafted free agent tight-end Mundt from the University of Oregon. He had been hurt majority of the preseason, but was able to reach the end on a touchdown reception from Dan Orolsvy in the final pre-season game.

Expect for each of these player to be signed to practice squad barring they clear waivers.
