​The Los Angeles Rams reserve is running back Malcolm Brown have been signed to an offer sheet by the Detroit Lions according to sources. Brown who is a RFA (Restrict Free Agent), can be resigned by the Rams if they match the Lions offer.

The Ram will have five days to match the offer however if they decline to match they will not receive any compensatory pick for the departure. Brown signed as an undrafted free agent; therefore, the Rams are not eligible to collect the pick.

Brown played well with the Rams last season until suffering a season-ending clavicle injury against the Lions in Week 13. Brown finished the regular season with 43 carries for 212 rushing yards with a 4.9 rushing , five receptions for 52 yards, and one touchdown.
