Los Angeles Rams Acquire Brandin Cooks By Trade

The Los Angeles Rams have acquired the speedy receiver Brandin Cooks plus a 2018 fourth-round pick from the New England Patriots. Strangely enough, the Rams have surrendered their #23 overall pick and a sixth-round pick in the deal.

Many talks were of the Rams were trying to figure a way of landing Odell Beckham Jr, those talks are at this point dead. Cooks will bring more speed to the Rams offense, but it is unclear why the Rams gave up a first-round pick. Clearly, it shows that they are ready to break the bank in signing the 2017 NFL Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald to a multi-million dollar contract.
