Ed "Pi Double i" HendersonWorldWide Rams The Los Angeles Rams once again have waived defensive back Isaiah Johnson for the third time this season. Johnson was signed to the practice squad a couple of weeks ago to create space for Aaron Donald return from holding out from his contract dispute.
Johnson was one of the ten players on the Rams practice squad, and in his place, the Rams signed former San Francisco 49er offensive lineman Darrell Williams Jr. Williams signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent of the 2017 NFL Draft after playing collegiately at Western Kentucky. He was signed to the 49ers practice squad and promoted late last season to the active roster. The 49ers waived Williams Jr. earlier this summer, as he remained available for a job. He tried out for the team today and walked away with a role on the Rams practice squad.
