Ed "Pi Double i" HendersonWorldWide Rams The Los Angeles Rams have released OT Rick Leonard from their practice squad. Leonard, drafted in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints, didn't make the final cuts of the 53-man roster. He would be released and signed to the Saints practice squad who released him last month.
Leonard is a 6-foot-7, 311-pound lineman that played collegiately at Florida State University. Originally recruited as a defensive end, later converted to offensive tackle at Florida State. An athletic lineman that's very strong, but a project to play at a higher level. Leonard release comes as the Rams needed room to add OL J.J. Dielman to the practice squad.
