WorldWide RamsEd "Pi Double i" Henderson Player Bio: "Rock" Ya-Sin is a talented defensive back with a wrestling background where he won two titles in the State of Georgia. His wrestling experience transitioned well with him becoming a good football player with a aggressive edge. Ya-Sin transferred to Temple University after playing three seasons at FCS Presbyterian College. At Presbyterian, he played his entire freshman season, and by his junior year, he is named All-Big South with 45 tackles, five interceptions, and nine pass deflections. As a graduate student player, he exploded onto the scene turning heads of the Owls coaching staff by demonstrating that he could play at the FBS level. He named All-American Athletic Conference first-team with 47 tackles, two interceptions, 12 pass deflections, with his best game versus the University of Buffalo. Ya-Sin made one spectacular interception on a two-point conversion returning it the distance. A one-year starter at Temple initially projected a day three selection. After a productive senior season, Ya-Sin great play now has him projected as a late first rounder to third-round.
