Game Film
#64 Eric McCoy vs Kentucky (2018)

Strengths: A very athletic player that fast and has the ability to get to the second level. The ability to sustain blocks at the point of contact, screens, the open field and can get outside as a pulling center. The ability to achor bull rushers with nice wide base. Has strong hands with great technique. Has a high IQ of the game where he play tough, and battle to the whistle blows.  Versatility that can play either multiple positions.

Weaknesses: Despite having the ability to drop anchor on bull rushers, still needs to get stronger for the next level. Questions circulates regarding short arms that may become a issue for rushers with longer frames. Not a mauler as a blocker but holds contain of blocks.

Draft Grade: 5.91

Draft Projection: 1st round

Does He Fit?: Absolutely! Rams lost to starters from their offensive line this off-season not resigning John Sullivan and Roger Saffold. However, the team does have second-year players Brian Allen (center) and Joseph Noteboom (guard/tackle) who projected as starters. However, a team cannot have too much depth at offensive lineman position, as Erik McCoy brings athleticism to the mix. McCoy brings a different level of speed at the center position as the Rams can control an outside run game.
