Player Bio:  Nate Davis prepped at  Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn, VA as he named as an All-State First-Team and 5A North All-Region First Team offensive lineman. He was a four-year letterman in football and helped his team to two District Championships. Named as team captain and team MVP as his team went to the Virginia AAA Division Five Championship. He received a scholarship to Charlotte where he would red-shirt his first year. In 2015, his red-shirt freshman season, he would be named as a starter and never surrender a starting position again. He played at right guard his first two seasons and at right tackle his final two seasons. Started 37 games and helped the Charlotte 49ers run game to finish in the top of the Conference USA. Davis received an invite to the 2019 NFL Combine and the 2019 Reese's Senior Bowl.

#64 nate davis vs. tennessee (2018)

Strengths: Has the ability to create movement in the running game with his powerful leg drives. Stay square to the defender and sustains blocks uncoiling his hips. Works blocking angles to his advantage and battles to position his frame to create lanes. Has a powerful punch and the ability to remain square. Very effective as a lead blocker and plays until the whistle is blown. Very mobile and moves wells in space and to his target. Very versatile as he can play at the guard or tackle positions. Once he locked on a defender he has the power to drive them away from the play. 

Weaknesses: Tends to get unbalanced at times becoming slightly awkward. Has poor feet control where he spends entirely too much time on the ground. Need to develop more consistency with his footwork and his body control to be successful at the next level.

Draft Projection: 4th - 5th Round​ 

Does He Fit?: Yes, ability to play at guard and tackle very powerful to assist with the Rams run game. Nice solid body that with a few tweaks here and there will be a refined starter for years to come.
